Format Store

INTRODUCTION

With nearly a century of history, Luisa Spagnoli is a historic and iconic brand in Italian fashion. After many years of presenting a well-established image, the company decided to completely refresh the look of its stores, entrusting the redesign to Fabrizio Cocchi. The client’s request was to create a format suitable for all its stores worldwide, modernizing the spaces while preserving the essence and values of the brand, resulting in environments that reflect both the tradition and evolution of Luisa Spagnoli.

THE MOOD BOARD

The new design is characterized by an elegant fusion of contemporary elements and nods to the brand’s history. The furnishings feature shades of white and gray, enhanced with tone-on-tone textures that add depth to the space. The walls are covered in alcantara and adorned with brass profiles that form refined golden geometries, contrasting beautifully with beige tones. The furniture, also framed in natural brass, retains shapes inspired by the art deco style of previous wooden furnishings but is reinterpreted with a modern twist. Transparent glass displays showcase the products attractively, while the minimalist forms reflect a more contemporary style. For lighting, the original Murano glass chandeliers and wall sconces have been retained, creating a striking contrast with the newly designed elements.

EXPERIENCE

This approach to the redesign perfectly embodies Luisa Spagnoli’s philosophy. The resulting space is clean, bright, and uncluttered, allowing the garments to take center stage. The interior design does not overpower the products but enhances them, creating an elegant setting that respects and highlights the brand’s identity. This project demonstrates how a simple yet thoughtful renovation can refresh the image of a historic and renowned company, preserving its DNA while providing customers with a shopping experience that harmoniously blends past and present.
